YATA CHICAGO SUMMIT COMPETITION

Picture

YATA and our parent organization, the ATA (Atlantic Treaty Association) will be represented at the upcoming Young Atlanticist Summit in Chicago, which will be taking place along the sidelines of the official NATO meetings.

In this connection, we are holding a 72 hour contest through which you can submit questions that you would like to ask 6 of the senior policy leaders that we will be meeting with.

Starting Tuesday May 15th at 12.00 CET, you have 48 hours to submit a maximum of one question per leader. We will post a picture of each policy leader on our Facebook page and you can submit your question as a comment on each picture.

When the 48 hours have passed on Thursday May 17th, we will start a 24 hour poll, through which people can vote for the best question for each policy leader.

The 6 leaders to whom you can pose questions are:

-  NATO SECRETARY GENERAL, ANDERS FOGH RASMUSSEN

-  EUROPEAN COUNCIL PRESIDENT, HERMAN VAN ROMPUY

-  CROATIAN FOREIGN MINISTER, VESNA PUSIC

-  ROMANIAN PRESIDENT, TRAIAN BĂSESCU

-  SWEDISH FOREIGN MINISTER, CARL BILDT

-  FORMER U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE, MADELEINE ALBRIGHT
